The church is testing new ways to collect and segregate trash and recyclables. As a bonus, we are hoping this also helps make collection and sorting for our volunteers more efficient. The continued struggle is coffee cups and other trash making it into our recycle bins. As this sits over a weekend, and then days later when sorted, the decay has set it! YUCK!
However, we are mindful that our goal is to make it easy for church members and visitors to contribute their recycling for our ministry. If we have to endure some inconvenience to spread the gospel, that's a small price to pay.
